Overview This is the most recent hostel from its peers and it is the result of partial use of the Pensão Figueira ‘Figueira Hostel’, one of the oldest hotel units in Santana. Its modern facilities stand out, possessing a zone for young people with free wifi leading to the Casa da Cultura de Santana ‘Santana House of Culture’.
One of its selling points is the environment that surrounds it. Its walking trails travel through some of the most iconic zones in Laurissilva Forest, which has been recently awarded with the status of world heritage by UNESCO.

Functioning: 1. The reservation of the “bed” service, when available, entitles the purchaser to use one bed in a shared multiple-occupancy room with other users of the same sex, who may or may not belong to the same group. The allocation of the “bed” is the responsibility of the DRJ. Bath towels are not provided, and the user is responsible for making their own bed.
Young people aged 16 or under may not stay alone in a multiple-occupancy room, unless the person responsible for the reservation assumes full responsibility in writing. 2. In double rooms and multiple-occupancy rooms with four beds, with or without a bathroom, the accommodation rate applies per room. In rooms with a private bathroom, the user is entitled to a bath towel, replaced every three days, daily room cleaning, and a change of bed linen once a week. The allocation of the room is the responsibility of the DRJ.
