Continuing the dialogues on education, the Regional Inspectorate of Education (IRE) organizes another session with Professor Helena Peralta, subordinated to the theme: "Our students-citizens of the 21st century; Curriculum: Learning, teaching and evaluation; Evaluation of learning in a context of flexibility and challenging questions." Training - "Our students-citizens of the 21st century; Curriculum: Learning, teaching and evaluation; Evaluation of learnings in a context of flexibility and challenging issues."

Helena Peralta holds a doctorate in Education Sciences – Curricular Development and Evaluation – by the University of Lisbon, a master’s degree in German Literature, by the University Nova de Lisboa and a degree in German Philology by the University of Lisbon. She is an auxiliary professor, retired, from the Institute of Education, University of Lisbon, in which she continues to develop research activities in Curricular Development, Evaluation, Educational Technologies and Didactics of Foreign Languages. In the context of her teaching activity, she lectured several disciplines in these scientific areas, having coordinated the Advanced Training Course (PhD) in Theory and Curriculum Development, the master's course in Theory and Curriculum Development and co-coordinated the master's degree in Educational Evaluation. She has several publications in these areas.

As part of its research activity, she has participated in national and international projects and in activities of the Council of Europe and the European Commission. She was a member of the European Commission's expert group, in the context of the Implementation of the Work Program on the Objectives of Education and Training Systems in Europe (Lisbon Strategy), from 2002 to 2005, and the EILC Advisory Board (Advisory Board for the European Indicator of Language Competence).
