The discussion was conducted by Professor José Augusto Pacheco, Department of Educational Social Sciences – Education Institute, Minho University - , with the presence of inspectors and higher technicians of the Regional Inspectorate of Education, school delegates, principals of kindergarten and primary school (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades) and presidents of the executive boards of primary school (5th and 6th grades), lower secondary school (7th, 8th and 9th grades) and higher secondary school 22-02-2016 Inspeção Regional Educação

Concerning the “Dialogues on Education”, on the 22nd of February, Monday, at 9:30 a.m. in APEL auditorium, another session took place and it was hosted by Professor José Augusto Pacheco – External Evaluation of Schools.

 

José Augusto Pacheco is a Professor in the Department of Social Sciences of Education, Education Institute, Minho University; he is the president of the Education Institute, Minho University; he was the president of the Portuguese Society of Education Sciences; he is a member of the National Education Council and an editor of the Magazine: “Estudos Curriculares” (Curricular Studies). He published around a 100 of scientific articles, 20 books and he won some awards (Rui Grácio Award). He has coordinated several projects of national and international research and he has been involved in the supervision of doctoral and master theses.
