In 1967, it underwent an upgrade, resulting in the MK2 with a 1000 cc engine, amongst other changes.
This model, created for urban use, was designed by Sir Alec Issigonis and featured the Mini Van platform, but with an open load area, making it one of the smallest and most versatile commercial vehicles of its time.
This vehicle had a British registration number until 1977, when it was re-registered in Portugal as MD-60-05. It was purchased, completely dismantled, over 20 years ago by the current owner, and has since mainly been used for events.
