According to the training cycle “Dialogues on Education”, another session took place: “Between the Politics and the Practices of Kindergarten”

On the 13th of May, 2016, last Friday, another training session took place, in the framework of the “Dialogues on Education”, whose targets were the education inspectors, principals of education institutions, principals of lower primary school (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades), school delegates and staff from executives boards of higher primary school (5th and 6th grades), lower secondary school (7th, 8th and 9th grades) and higher secondary school. 13-05-2016 Inspeção Regional Educação

On the 13th of May, Friday, at 9:30 a.m. in APEL auditorium, a session occurred by Professor Natália Fernandes, Education Institute, Minho University.

Professor Natália Fernandes has a Kindergarten degree; doctorate in Child Studies (Childhood Sociology), in 2005, with the dissertation about Childhood and Rights: Children Participation in Life Contexts - Representations, Practices and Powers. She is a Professor in the Department of Social Sciences of Education, in the Education Institute, Minho University.

In 2014/2015 she made a post-doctoral (Leeds University) and she has several collaborations with Universities of the European and American continent.

She is the author of many publications in scientific journals and several books, such as: “Infância e Direitos: Participação das Crianças nos Contextos de vida – Representações, Práticas e Poderes”, 2009, “Afrontamento” Publishing House.
