This meeting was attended by foreign delegations from Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria, Scotland, Estonia, France, Holland, England, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Basque Country, the Czech Republic, the Republic of Moldova and Sweden, in a total of 17 countries.
The opening session emphasized the challenges that education faces in the formation of the citizen of the 21st century. This was followed by six delegations, which highlighted the new paradigm of the inspective work, and innovation and collaborative work were dominant notes. This tonic was present in the speeches of the Director of the Regional Inspectorate of Education, Jorge Morgado, and the president of SICI, Chantal Manes.
The second day of work began with the testimony of the basic and secondary schools of Fonte da Rocha, Nazaré, Porto da Cruz and Calheta, followed by a moment of reflection, in small groups, on the theme of the meeting. In the end, Chantal Manes presented the conclusions of the two working days, in which she highlighted the strategies and obstacles to innovation.
This meeting provided reflection and sharing, in plenary sessions, discussions and work of small groups, different ideas, distinct views and experiences of inspectorates from different countries, focusing on the theme of the workshop – strategies and obstacles to innovation.
