The Austin 10 was a small 4-door saloon car launched on April 19, 1932 by the Austin Motor Company, becoming the best-selling brand in terms of production and upgrades until 1947. It was a complement to the line between the Austin Seven, introduced in 1922, and the Austin Twelve, which received an upgrade in 1931.
During World War II, the model received a request to work with the United Kingdom Armed Forces, with modifications being made in the saloon and pickup versions to suit the needs of the British forces. During this period, they became known as "Tillies".
